As President George Bush travels to the middle east later this week to speak to Israeli Prime Minister Olmert and Palestinaian President Abbas let us be aware that both Olmert and Abbas are hugely unpopular with their own people and unlikely to be able to bring about a two state solution with huge compromises . . all of them being made by Israel.

This is why Olmert is unpopular with Israelis, he is committed to give more land for peace and see a Palestinian state in the making by the end of this year.

Yet all Israel has ever received in return for her peace moves is rockets, murder, & suicide bombers. Many Israelis are saying “enough”.

Since 1993 and the Oslo Accords have you ever seen the Palestinians make one, just one compromise? Never. Israel has her back to the wall but the God of Israel is watching. Though her most difficult days are still ahead of her, Israel shall be saved by her Messiah, Jesus.

Let’s look at Abbas, The “Moderate” Palestinian leader. He is unpopular because he has not waged an intifada against Israel but is pursuing dialogue.

What the man on the street in the West Bank doesn’t realize is Abbas is really out to destroy Israel. He is even talking about making peace with Hamas.

Abbas spoke openly of talks

Also Abbas is in charge of Fatah. Just a week or so ago two of his Fatah employees Ali Hamid Dandanes and Amir Badad Kalim Taha brutally gunned down two off duty Israeli soldiers who were hiking in the West Bank. They then turned themselves over to the Palestinian Authority (their bosses) where they received “understanding treatment.”

Remember Abbas is the man who calls the late Yasser Arafat a “martyr”.

Photo of Arab ad
He has a newspaper that recently had a cartoon of an Arab praying for U S pilots to die and their wives made widows and their children orphans.

So why would Bush travel to the Middle East to attend such a meeting?
Because he needs desperately to get in the good books of his Arab, oil producing, masters who are leaning more toward Iran, Syria, and Russia than to the USA. There is wide spread talk of some oil producers changing their petro-dollars into petro-Euros.

That is instead of selling oil in dollars they will sell and deal in Euros. This will put tremendous pressure on the USA economy which is already in severe trouble.

America must act in a definite way if she is to retain her influence in the Middle and Far East.

So onto the altar of oil goes Israel and the Jewish people.

Either America has to placate the Arabs in some way or take over the oil fields before the extremists. And she can’t do that militarily as she is already stretched in that area, logistically as well as financially.

So the Arabs have the West over a barrel, literally an oil barrel.

So is Bush simply going to Israel and the West Bank?

Photo of Bush Itinerary
No. Following his probably humiliation of Israel (as was done so despicably at Annapolis when Israelis had to use the servants entrance to attend the conference. And once there were not permitted to touch or sit near an Arab) he will travel to tell his Arab masters what a good boy he has been and “can we still deal in Dollars now, pretty please!”
Let’s not be too hard on Bush. He is in a corner, to be sure.

He needs oil for his country.

But my, oh my, at what a price. The Jewish state and its people.

Pray for Bush that he may meet the Messiah of Israel while he is there and realise he is just a pawn in Satan’s
end time strategy to wipe Israel off the map.

May President Bush end his term and be remembered as the man with backbone who stood with Israel and not with her enemies.

Until next time may Messiah bless and keep you.
